The opportunity to garner some black type for a superbly related filly has drawn Peter Snowden north of the NSW border with I Found You, who will line up in the Listed Mode Stakes at Doomben.

An I Am Invincible half-sister to Deep Field and Shooting To Win, I Found You is already a valuable proposition, but a top three finish on Saturday will cement her residual appeal.

The three-year-old has flagged her promise in just three starts, scoring a convincing debut win on a heavy track at Kensington in June before being touched out in a Saturday grade race at Flemington a month later.

While Snowden was hoping for a better result than her midfield finish when she resumed in the Group 3 Red Roses Stakes (1100m) in Melbourne during Cup week, he felt she had genuine excuses.

"She got into a lovely spot at the start and midway through," Snowden said.

"But she's only got a short sprint on her, and around the 700 metre mark they parted and left her with free air.

"It was no fault of the jockey, she just took off and made her run way too early and the last fifty metres, they swamped her.

"She's a mare you've just got to ride dead-cold and make one run on her."

Snowden has given I Found You three weeks to recover from the run and has been pleased with her progress since.

Leading Brisbane jockey James Orman will partner her in Saturday's Mode Stakes (1200m) and from an ideal draw in barrier three, Snowden is expecting a bold run.

"She has come through that last run well and it's a good race up there for her on Saturday," he said.

"She has drawn a good gate to get a good run, and the soft track won't worry her. She is a live chance."

I Found You is a $3.60 favourite while Orman will ride $6 chance Rothfire in the afternoon's feature, the Group 3 George Moore Stakes (1200m).
