In-form pacer Cantfindabettorman will head straight into the Inter Dominion heats in Newcastle later this month.
The Isabel Walsh-prepared gelding has been in a rich vein of form heading into the Grand Circuit series winning three out of six starts since joining the stable, including the November 2 Hygain four and five-year-old Championship at Melton.
"His four and five-year-old Championship win was his last run and his next run will be at Newcastle for the Inter Dominion heats," Walsh said.
"He does trackwork at home. He raced pretty well for four or five runs in a row to toughen him up.
"We weighed up the Inter Dominion or the Country Cup circuit and we picked the Inter Dominion, everyone wants to have a runner in the Inter Dominion."
The Kialla horsewoman is optimistic she has the horse to mix it with the countries best pacers.
"He is going to be competitive, but can he beat Leap To Fame? – I don't know," she said.
"We raced him pretty consistently over the last five weeks to give him that strong grounding. He handled that pretty well.
"Does he handle three runs in 10 days? No one knows until they do it.
"Leap To Fame is the best horse I have seen outside North America and with Swayzee and Max Delight and a fair few horses coming good at the right time, it is going to be a tough contest."
The then Belinda Mccarthy-trained pacer won the 2023 Inter Dominion consolation as a short-priced favourite at Albion Park after finishing sixth, fifth and third in the respective three heats.
"We think he will credit himself well and be there abouts. He didn't make the final last year and won the consolation," Walsh said.
"Maybe this year he can go one better and make the final."
The first round of Inter Dominion heats is set to kick off on November 29 at Newcastle with the final scheduled for December 14 at Menangle.
