The Graeme Whittle-trained squaregaiter is set to line-up in the second heat of the Mimosa Homes Breeders Crown for two-year-old trotting fillies at Bendigo on Wednesday night.

The juvenile was stellar on debut taking out the Haras Des Trotteurs Nutrien Equine Classic for 2YO trotting fillies final in April.

The daughter of Majestic Grace has since returned to the track after taking a bit of a break after her maiden success.

"She is a lovely filly, and everything is beautiful, and she is good gaited and well developed and it is just a matter of getting some good runs in," Graeme Whittle said.

The squaregaiter is set to be piloted by son, Matthew, who has driven the two-year-old on four occasions.

"Matthew is going to drive, because it was actually him who picked the horse out at the sales," Carol who trains in an unofficial partnership with husband Graeme said.

"His dad drove in the Redwood, because he said, 'I am going to win a Redwood Classic', but it wasn't meant to be."

Carol who has also seen the two-year-old mature has fond memories of the debut success.

"It was a fabulous night," Carol Whittle said. "She was really hard to work when we first got her, and she was a bit head-strong and she use to run off the track and do all sorts of silly things.

"The boys have sorted her out and have got her going."

Prohibited Grace has drawn five for the $10,000 event with hot favourite, the Glenn Hunter-prepared Gatesys Gem drawing seven.

"She has progressed alright, and she has got a bad draw (five) in a good field," Graeme Whittle said.

"It seems like we have got the major chances in our race which makes things a bit hard. Gatesys Gem will probably win the heat.

"We have got the best of the field in our heat."

Wednesday's Mimosa Homes Breeders Crown for two-year-old trotting fillies is set to go at 9.30pm.

Qualifiers from the heats will progress to the $50,000 final on Saturday November 16.
